# RLC — Roguelike Client

> RLC is a mail client that reads the threads in your Inbox and Sent, ranks
> them by what it costs to leave them, and offers replies for what each thread
> is for. Your mailboxes in one place: Gmail, Yandex, Mail.ru, Outlook, iCloud
> or any server with IMAP and SMTP, connected with an app password. The mailbox
> does not move: the letters stay with the provider.

## What it does
- **Every thread ranked** — priority, deadline, whether a reply is owed and for
  how long, a summary and the tasks inside.
- **Replies for the goal** — set what a thread is for (sell, agree, close the
  question, set a meeting, support, hiring, for information) and pick one of up
  to three replies written for it.
- **The inbox as a map** — weigh it by urgency, importance, waiting, number of
  letters or people.
- **Ask your mail** — search by meaning, or ask a question and get an answer
  with the letters it searched.
- **Digest and tasks** — everything skimmable in one view; the tasks inside
  threads in another.

## The metaphor, since the name carries it
An inbox is a dungeon, a thread is a room, and a thread marked done is a room
cleared: it leaves the map and the list.

## What it reads and keeps
It reads the letters in Inbox and Sent from the last 90 days and all new ones
after you connect. To rank and search, it keeps a copy of those letters and
passes their text to a language model to read. In the client, a letter goes only when you press send.
Remove a mailbox and its threads, summaries and search index go from RLC; the
letters stay with the provider.

## Price
Free: $0, the AI reads 300 letters a month. Pro: $12 a month or $120 a year,
3,000 letters a month. Team: $15 a member a month or $150 a year, from three
members, 3,000 letters per member in one shared pool, with shared goals and an
administrator. Enterprise: installed on the company's own servers, priced on
request (sales@rlc.rocks). Every plan takes any number of mailboxes; letters
over the allowance arrive without the AI reading them, at no extra charge.
Prices are in US dollars in every language.

## Enterprise
RLC installed in a company's own infrastructure, working entirely inside a
closed perimeter: open models through vLLM or GigaChat inside it, mail over
IMAP/SMTP and Exchange, data that does not leave the infrastructure. A
subscription or a perpetual licence, with implementation and support; terms are
set in the contract.

## Start
At https://mail.rlc.rocks: sign in with your email (a password and a code sent
in a letter) and add a mailbox with its address and an app password. Yandex ID,
VK ID, Google and GitHub sign-in are being switched on. The demo, with three
sample mailboxes, works without an account.
